nCounter Human Organ Trasplant Panel

The Human Organ Transplant Panel is designed for the study of the gene expression related to the immune response in case of transplant, to improve the organ transplant outcome.

This panel was created through a collaboration between NanoString and the Banff Foundation for Allograft Pathology, a global consortium of researchers from multiple prestigious institutes, including researchers from the University of Alberta, Erasmus Medical Center Rotterdam, Imperial College London, Massachusetts General Hospital, University of Oxford, and the Paris Transplant Group.

It includes 770 genes (downloadable list) involved in 37 pathways which cover the Innate Immune Response, the Adaptative Immune Response, the Complement System, tissue homeostasis…

For more information about the pathways included in the panel, immune cell profiling, probes compatibility with non-human primate genes and so on, please consult the product file you can download below.

Some application examples for this panel are discovering new biomarkers of rejection and the mechanisms behind tissue damage (kidney, heart, liver, and lung), monitoring toxicities brought on by immunosuppressive drugs, identifying BK Polyomavirus, Cytomegalovirus, and Epstein-Barr virus, measuring the relative abundance of 14 different immune cell types…

Panel customization

The Human Organ Transplant Panel could be combined with a Panel Plus, which will allow you to add up to 55 genes chosen by the client.
