AlloSeq Tx 17 is an innovative NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) HLA typing solution that uses Hybrid Capture technology.
The kit allows sequencing of genes HLA-A, -B, -C, -E, -F, -G, -H, -DRB1, -DRB3/4/5, -DQA1, -DQB1, -DPA1, -DPB1, MICA and MICB, with maximum coverage of the 17 loci (all exons for all genes). Allele level resolution results in low rates of ambiguity.
The kit includes reagents to prepare whole genome libraries using bead-bound transposons, indexes for the identification of samples in a single tube, biotinylated probes complementary to capture sequence targets, and reagents to enrich the captured targets for sequencing.
Sequencing is performed on Illumina platforms (MiSeq, MiniSeq or iSeq), and the resulting sequence data is imported into the AlloSeq Assign software to assist with genotyping.
Hybrid capture technology allows the future study of new target regions by adding the specific probes without impacting the workflow.
