Mentype® DIPscreen CE-IVD part of a combined strategy for the highly quantitative analysis by real time PCR (qPCR) of monitoring samples after alogenic stem cell transplantation to control the course of transplant engraftment and to assess the risk of threatening relapse.
This multiplex PCR assay is based on the analysis of 33 DNA insertion/deletion polymorphisms (DIPs/INDELs) which, compared to other DNA sequence motifs, do not lead to the formation of artefacts during amplification that can affect the analysis, and are optimal for quantitative studies, together with the genus-specific Amelogenin locus. Fragment analysis genotypes donor and recipient samples for the study of chimerism and, in combination with Mentype® DIPquant, quantification can be carried out.
The system can be used at any time, using only minimal quantities of consumables.
MentypeThe flexible format of the assay allows individual single-sample diagnosis and high-throughput analysis at any time, using only minimal quantities of consumables.
