Coeliac disease (CD) is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the small intestine triggered by ingesting gluten or related proteins. It is one of the most common diseases affecting Caucasians. Certain HLA-molecules (most notably, HLA-DQ2 and -DQ8) have been identified as risk factors which confer predisposition to the disease.

Domino Kit System is designed for detecting HLA alleles involved in celiac disease by PCR and gel analysis using allele-specific primers.
